A greeting…

Standard

What’s in a greeting? ¬†What does it matter, how we acknowledge another’s presence?

It does though, doesn’t it… What would you prefer? Limp handshake, grunted “Hi”, brief nod of head… Eye contact, a warm smile, perhaps even a real kiss (and contact please, not air kissing!) or a heartfelt hug…

It may not always be possible or appropriate to say Namaste, it might feel silly or awkward, but I invite you to place the sentiment of Namaste behind every greeting you offer, try it for an hour, a day, a week… Let Namaste be the intention of your first words to the person you greet… See if it changes how you interact with the person in front of you… See if it affects how you feel about that person or about your contact with them…

Namaste…

I honour the place in your heart where the whole Universe dwells, that sacred space of love, of truth, of light and of peace; When you are in that place in your heart, and I am in that place in mine, We are One. Namaste..
